On the west coast of Turkey on the Aegean Sea, we find Oludeniz, a small village in Mugla province, which is considered to be one of the best beaches in the world. It is a vast beach with amazing landscapes and surrounded by mountains in a priviledged area.
The water is torquoise in colour and has two clearly defined areas: the beach on the sea and the Blue Lagoon which is linked to the former by a narrow passage between green mountains and where you marvel at the presence of ducks and geese swimming freely.
To get there you need to pay a 10-euro ticket, since the whole area is like a great enclosed park and there are also good restaurants and toilet facilities, so that you do not need to go out during your visit.
Here you will find luxury hotels as well as smaller ones, hostels, apartments and authentic Turkish
The area has excellent restaurants and pubs where you will have an opportunity to taste typical Turkish food.
A few kilometres away, Calis beach offers a boat hire service to allow you to spend a great time, though nature is not as exuberant as in Oludeniz.
This place is favourite for paragliding and you can also see good historical monuments or the ruins of Telméssos in Fethive.
Turkey has big airports like the ones in Istambul and Ankara and there is also an excellent bus service to connect with Olu Deniz. As in most beaches in Turkey, there is temperate climate with cold wet winters and hot dry summers between May and August.
