In Sinaí Penninsula, between the coastal frindge on the Red Sea and Mount Sinaí we find the spectacular Sharm El Sheik, a tourist city with beaches, desert, corals, fish, parks, and everything a real paradise can offer

It is considered one of the best beaches in Egypt, with its crystal water inviting to practise watersports such as diving. If you are not used to diving, you need not to worry, as there is a great diving centre where you will be taught and take your first steps in this fascinating sport. In fact, Sharm El Sheik is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in the world for diving and snorkelling.
Most beaches in Sharm El Sheik have red sand and corals very near the shore, so you will need to wear sneakers to get into the water.


There is a great variety of good hotels and if you book in advance you will be able to find what you are looking for.

One of the tourists´ favourites is sailing on ships with transparent decks from where you can admire the corals in the Red Sea.
You can go on a well-organized guided tour of the desert and go through the experience of sleeping in the desert where you will stay in comfortable tents. Do not miss Saint Catherine´s Monastery and Ras Mohamed Park.
The nights in Sharm El Sheik are very busy too, since markets are oponed all day and night and you can buy anything you want, eat out in one of the various restaurants and pubs or visit the casinos.


Sharm El Sheik has its own international airport where you will get connecting flights to almost anywhere.
Sharm El Sheik can be visited any time of year, thanks to its pleasant weather.
