Cancun is undoubtedly the most famous tourist destination in Mexico. It owes its reputation to its spectacular beaches with warm, transparent water and resplendent white sand. It is situated in Quintana Roo area, on the Caribbean, and in the last 30 years it has had a fabulous development, and is now a place of paradise deserted beaches, and a world top destination receiving visitors all the year.

Cancun is divided into 5 areas: Cancun Island itself, which is the best-known and where are all the hotels; the Urban area where the city develops; Puerto Juarez, from where you cross to Women´s Island, and last but not least, Franja Eidal and Alfredo Bonfil.


Cancun offers the most important hotel infrastructure in the world, with hyper-luxurious 6-star hotels, which are ideal for the beaches in Mexico. There are lots of these in Cancun, and more than 150 hotels and all kinds of other accommodation.

Cancun is easy to reach, you can get there from Mexico city, connecting with your home town. You can find special prices on the internet.
Each hotel usually has its own beach, and holidaymakers can benefit from different services like deckchairs, towels, drinks, etc. This does not mean that these beaches are private; anyone can go by, although they cannot use the hotel services which are only for guests.
Cancun offers lots of activities including pubs and discos to enjoy the maddening nightlife of Cancun, or even cruiser rides along the coast. You can also visit Langosta Beach or Las Perlas.
There are excursions to X Caret, Women´s Island, Cozumel, or the striking Chichen Itza, the oldest capital of the Mayan Empire.

The average temperature is 25º, which invites you to come to Cancun any time of year.
